Night Market

0 Comments 30 October 2008

the night market

Night markets are popular in China, as is photographing them.  The photographs of bustling neon lights with busy locals and bewildered laowai, or foreigners, have their own charm and life.  But so do the ones with no one in them at all.

This is one that does close, and it is quiet when that time comes.  There is a quintessentially Asian post-apocalyptic feel to everything, even and perhaps especially where your food comes from.
